Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all texts, emails, documents, and other miscellaneous records in relation to any police responses to Funimation or Crunchyroll headquarters at 1200 Lakeside Pkwy, Flower Mound, TX 75028 within the last three (3) calendar years.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Our town attorneys had up to 10 business days to look over the responsive records. The 10th business day was yesterday, Tuesday, September 20th, 2022. They should’ve sent either an email to the email address provided or mail to the mailing address in your request.

I was unaware there would be information believed to be exempt from disclosure per Texas law. In that case, I shall wait for a ruling from Paxton. Is there any information that the office believes would not be exempt from disclosure per Texas law?

Under the requirements of the Public Information Act, I am legally required to send all confidential information contained in the documents you requested to the Attorney General’s Office for an official ruling that will determine what is able to be released to you. At this point, we are required to wait for a ruling from the Attorney General. You can expect a response from the Attorney General’s Office within the next 45 days. I am not able to provide you any additional information or legal advice.
