Re: Public Records Request for Phone Log or Phone Records for calls made by Samantha Syoen, Oct 1, 2000 to Dec 31, 2000

To Samantha Syoen, Communications, FL State Attorney Office, 20th Circuit -- ssyoen@sao.cjis20.org :

Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:

Seeking a certified copy of any phone log or any phone records kept by you for phone calls you made from the state attorney's office from Oct 1, 2000 to Dec 31, 2000, if you were employed by that office at that time.

If you were not employed during that time by the 20th Circuit State Attorney Office (and you were still employed by Fox News or you were elsewhere), then kindly write a letter on official letterhead and state such facts, and certify it, so I will know there are no responsive public records to this request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Sincerely,

Susan Alyn

From: Syoen, Samantha A.

May I ask - how long is your office required to keep a phone log of phone calls made by your office? Or, in the alternative, do you keep such a phone log?

If you were not employed during that time by the 20th Circuit State Attorney Office (and you were still employed by Fox News or you were elsewhere), then kindly write a letter on official letterhead and state such facts, and certify it, so I will know there are no responsive public records to this request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
