From: Conor Skelding

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:

1. Any and all communications between Jonah Peretti and/or BuzzFeed and/or any representatives of BuzzFeed and the United of Florida and/or any representatives of the University of Florida regarding Peretti's March 20 visit.

2. Any and all written agreements, contracts or riders created for the event.

On March 21, the independent newspaper of the University of Florida wrote that, "Accent Speaker’s Bureau brought Peretti to campus, paying him a $40,000 honorarium for his talk." (That article is published online here: http://www.alligator.org/news/campus/article_55e58db6-b0b8-11e3-9219-001a4bcf887a.html)

In addition to the records described in points 1 and 2, I seek the specific terms of that $40,000 honorarium.

I am also willing to accept immediately releasable portions of my request in anticipation of a full response.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Sincerely,

Conor Skelding
