Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
1. A copy of any policy concerning displays at or on the grounds of the Florida capitol.
2. A copy of any application received since January 1, 2022, to use the space or grounds of the Florida capitol for a non-governmental use.
3. A copy of any processing notes, emails, memoranda, or other records generated as a result of any application for such use by any of the following persons or entities: (a) Chaz Stevens; (b) Chaz Stephens; (c) Schadenboner, Inc.; (d) Mount Jab Church. This request is limited to applications made on or after January 1, 2022.
4. A copy of any processing notes, emails, memoranda, or other records generated in connection with any denied application, whether or not the request was by a person or entity identified in Request No. 3. This request is limited to applications made on or after January 1, 2022.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

In accordance with Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, and the Department of Management Services (DMS) Public Records Policy, the estimated costs are being assessed for the production of public records in response to your public records request submitted to the Department. The requestor will be required to remit additional monies to pay for any costs in excess of the estimate. Any fees not spent by DMS will be refunded to the payor.
Send a check or money order made payable to the "Department of Management Services" in the amount reflected below and please reference PRR 2021-1304 on the check. Payment will be collected before documents are processed for release. Send correspondence and payment to the attention of the Public Records Coordinator, Office of the General Counsel, Department of Management Services, 4050 Esplanade Way, Suite 160, Tallahassee, Florida 32399.
If the Public Records Coordinator does not receive a response within 30 days of this dated invoice, DMS will consider the public records request closed. Such a closure will not hinder the requestor's ability to make future public records requests to DMS.

Can you update me as to the status of our May 10, 2022 request for records from the Department of Management Services? Payment for those records was deposited on or about July 13, 2022, and the Department said the following day that it would "start working on the request."
I have not received any records or further update on the status of the request since then, so I'm reaching out to eliminate the possibility that records were produced but lost in the mail.
Can you let me know when I might expect to receive records if they have not already been sent?
