To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:

1) Copies of all applications to transfer a film tax credit from one entity to another, pursuant to FS 288.1254(5), submitted to the Florida Office of Film and Entertainment from Jan. 1, 2012 until the date this request is processed. If the information contained in such notices is compiled in a database that would be easier to provide, as opposed to each individual notice, I would be happy to discuss revising my request accordingly.

I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist employed by the Lowell Sun and I intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest and not for any commercial purposes. I would be happy to discuss any questions you have about my request. I can be reached at 978-970-4650.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Sincerely,

Todd Feathers

Morgan,

Thank you so much. I am continuously amazed, when requesting records from Florida agencies, by how helpful you folks are. It makes life a lot easier for people like myself, and I really appreciate it.

If I can ask, I'm guessing that the database these records come from is not available on a public domain for search -- that it's an internal database?

Best,
Todd

From: McCord, Morgan

Thanks for your kind words. You are correct, it is an internal database.
