Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

-Any policies from January 2016 to the date this request is processed related to determining a person’s competence to stand trial
-Any blank forms valid from from January 2016 to the date this request is processed used to determine a person’s competence to stand trial
-Any learning/training materials valid from from January 2016 to the date this request is processed used to restore a person’s competence to stand trial

Please provide materials on a rolling basis, as they become available. We request that the requested complaints please be made available to us as soon as possible.

Pursuant to s. 916.13, Fla. Stat., when a defendant who is charged with a felony is found incompetent to proceed, he is committed to the custody of the Department of Children and Families who provide court ordered treatment and competency restoration training.
