Dear Mr. Welch,

The State of Florida has the second largest LESO program in the nation. Currently we have 1180 active files and 550 inactive files which total approximately 47,750 pages of records which meet the scope of your request. Because of the nature of these documents, we will need to review and redact information from these files such as security information, which is exempt from disclosure pursuant to section 119.071(3), Florida Statutes. Given the volume of the records requested, a conservative estimate is that we will be able to review and redact 100 pages per hour, plus additional time for scanning the documents. Please see the attached invoice for further information regarding the cost associated with this request. If you would like to narrow the scope of your request, please let us know. Thank you for allowing us to be of service in this matter.

Sincerely,
