Pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law and the Missouri Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All dispatch recordings between Officer Darren Wilson and other Ferguson officers on August 9, 2014 beginning approximately 11:50 AM until 12:30PM.
Please limit my request, if possible, to records that have been previously processed under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Due to the scope of the request, we will be unable to produce the information within three business days. Your request includes documents or records that are kept in other departments of the City and, therefore, additional time will be needed to research those documents and records.

As the Custodian of Records, I have received several requests for the dispatch recordings that were aired by the Post-Dispatch.
The dispatch recordings are part of the investigative record which is closed under Section 610.100 R.S.Mo<http://R.S.Mo>.
I, as the Custodian of Records, for the City of Ferguson did not release the dispatch recordings. I personally do not know the reason for the release of this information at this time.
Given that certain segments of such records were released and made public, I will provide copies of the portions of those records that were previously made public via the Post-Dispatch.
All other investigative records will remain closed under Section 610.100 R.S.Mo<http://R.S.Mo>.
Copies of the dispatch recordings have been made on CD’s. Those recordings are available at a cost of $5.00 for duplication. They are currently available in the Finance Office at City Hall, 110 Church Street.
