From: Dan Sinker
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 to 11), I hereby request the following records:
All board correspondence between board members or between the board and superintendent marked "confidential" for the 2017 calendar year.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Dan Sinker

Dear Mr. Sinker:
I am in receipt of 4 FOIA requests from you, dated 12/18/17. I am trying to process these but wanted to make you aware of the possibility that the District will be taking an extension of time in order to respond to you.
Evanston Township High School District 202 is on winter break from 12/22/17-1/8/18. Additionally, I will not be in the office until Friday, 1/12/18. Our Information Technology Department will not have time to pull any electronic records prior to the return to school after the break, and then, the records need to be reviewed.
I will do my best to respond to your requests as soon as possible. A realistic date for completion is probably Friday, January 19.
You might want to use this form - https://announcements.wufoo.com/forms/q1mjyigs0kg56bk/ in the future. This creates an internal timestamp and helps us to make sure we respond in time. We will continue to honor requests that come through email and not on the form, but it might be more convenient for you.
Thank you for agreeing to a reasonable time line to process your FOIA requests.
