Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
1. ) Any and all expenditure costs for the Erie County Executive Security Detail, which started in March, 2019.
According to the media:
"When asked about it, Poloncarz told 2 On Your Side, “I would just say that in this environment that we deal with, with regards (sic) to the political climate today, we've had an uptick in some serious incidents that we worry about."
"Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz has been observed as of late being escorted by a security detail, an unfamiliar site regarding an elected official who most often drove himself to various events and appearances."

2.) Any and all expenditure costs for the Erie County Executive Security Detail, which started in March, 2022.
According to the media: One of the threats involved "someone who seems to know where I've been at various locations, saying they're going to shoot me in the head," he said.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

Please submit your request directly to my email, linda.pawenski@erie.gov so that I may better track your FOIL. Sending it via fax does not always guarantee that your request makes it's way to me, as this is the first time I have received your request. Sending your FOIL directly to me ensures that you have a direct line to ECSO to check on your FOIL.

I am appealing the denial of my FOIL request submitted to the ECSO on 5/10/2022. On 5/25/2022, Mickey Pawenski stated "On behalf of Administrative Chief John Greenan, please be advised that we have no specific records in a format that is responsive to your request."
Please provide the records I requested in the the original format maintained by the ECSO. My original FOIL request is below:
