Pursuant to the state open records law, Ariz. Rev. Stat. Ann. Secs. 39-121 to 39-122 and 39-128, I hereby request the following records:
All contracts (and their amendments) and memorandums of understanding entered into by the City of Eloy for services related to La Palma Correctional Center
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

In reference to your email to Eloy City Manager, Harvey Krauss regarding the status of your public records request dated December 20, 2014, for contracts for the Eloy Detention, LaPalma and Red Rock Correctional facilities in Eloy, please be advised that after reviewing my emails, I show no record of any public records requests sent to me requesting these documents. With that being said, the documents you are requesting consists of approximately 500 to 1000 pages. Therefore, the information you are requesting will have to be sent by U.S. Mail service. The City of Eloy charges $.15 per page, plus postage. The copying fees for the documents you are seeking can range anywhere from $75.00 to $150.00, plus postage and will require pre-payment. If you would like me to proceed with the processing of your request, please complete the attached official Public Records Request form and return to me at your earliest convenience. Once I receive the completed form and payment I will process your request. Thank you.
