Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:
We are looking for all documents related to the Elk Grove contract with Sungard to purchase Sungard OneSolution software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
The Office of the City Clerk of the City of Elk Grove has received your request for public records dated August 7, 2017. Pursuant to Government Code section 6253(c), this letter serves to advise you that it appears that the Request, in whole or in part, seeks copies of disclosable public records in the possession of the City, as provided by the Public Records Act, Government Code sections 6250 et seq. (the "PRA").
The City has started the process of identifying the specific records that may be responsive to the Request. Within 10 days from receipt of your request, the City will notify you of whether the request, in whole or in part, seeks copies of disclosable public records in the possession of the City of Elk Grove, and provide you with an anticipated date of availability, if not the records themselves. If additional time is necessary to identify records, we will so notify you.
The City will require payment of all costs of duplication, as authorized by Government Code section 6253(b), prior to the release of any copied records. The City attempts to provide records in electronic format whenever possible to avoid the cost of duplication and mailing.
