To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act ("APRA"), I hereby request the following records:
Written procedures for access to the agency’s public records, including any records request forms required or suggested by the agency
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
Good morning Shawn
Attached is our policy and form for any/all public records requests. There is no charge for your request. Please let me know if you are in need of any additional information.
Executive Assistant to the Town Manager
125 Main St., East Greenwich, RI
Thank you for your response. I sent a similar but separate request to the East Greenwich Finance Department, and as I haven't received acknowledgement of that request, I'm wondering if it was forwarded to you.
Thank you so much.
The policy/forms I sent you cover all Town departments (including Finance). Did you send them an actual request for records or just the request re. the policy/forms?
Thank you for your response. I sent a request of identical wording to that below to email@example.com on March 31, and a followup email to the same address on April 15, but have yet to hear a response. Was this request forwarded to your attention?
To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to follow up on the following Freedom of Information request, copied below, and originally submitted on March 31, 2014. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response, or if further clarification is needed.
Thank you for your help.
The Town has fulfilled your request for Public Records via an email from
Pam Aveyard on April 1st. I do not know why Ms. Raposa did not reply to
your same request but Pam is correct; we have one form and policy for
the entire Town.
Ms. Raposa has since left the Town and is no longer employed here so you
will not be receiving anything from her.
I am attaching our policy and form again. This should satisfy your

The public records request are forwarded to my attention so I can respond accordingly. . . the docs that I forwarded to you originally cover the policy and procedures for all departments. Is there other information that you are waiting on?
No, this is all I need on this request.
