Thank you.

Matt,

Please see the attached letter for the District's response.

In order to identify the correspondence records you requested, the District performed an email search through all staff inboxes with the following conditional parameters:
Timeframe: 01/01/08 to 06/19/20
Keywords: "dam" and "salt creek" or "salt creek workgroup" or "drsc" or "Graue Mill dam"

This search resulted in 2601 emails which the District found to be unduly burdensome.

Would you be able to narrow the scope of your request? In order to find a suitable compromise, the District ran another search using the following parameters:
Timeframe: 01/01/08 to 06/19/20
Keywords: "dam" and "salt creek" or "salt creek workgroup" or "drsc" or "Graue Mill dam"
Inboxes: dhebreard@dupageforest.org<mailto:dhebreard@dupageforest.org> (District Board President), dzinnen@dupageforest.org<mailto:dzinnen@dupageforest.org> (Director of Resource Management and Development), tmartinez@dupageforest.org<mailto:tmartinez@dupageforest.org> (Director of Community Relations), eneidy@dupageforest.org<mailto:eneidy@dupageforest.org> (Director of Natural Resources), blovelace@dupageforest.org<mailto:blovelace@dupageforest.org> (Manager of Engineering and Environmental Services), Khorsfall@dupageforest.org<mailto:Khorsfall@dupageforest.org> (Manager of Planning), estevenson@dupageforest.org<mailto:estevenson@dupageforest.org> (Executive Director), and John Oldenburg (Former Manager of Natural Resources).

This search resulted in 545 emails. The District acknowledges the search and review required for these results seems to be reasonable. Would this search reasonably respond to the intent of your request?
