Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Records sufficient to show the names, star numbers, respective dates, and the type of time off of all police officers and/or employees who requested any personal time off, vacation days, personal days, furlough days, or any other time off for the dates of, on, or between Jan 1, 2021 and January 8, 2021 AS WELL AS the dates of, on, or between Jan 1, 2020 and January 8, 2020.
Ideally, please provide the records in an excel spreadsheet.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Pursuant to California Government Code Section 6253(c), we write in response to the inquiry that you made to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office under the California Public Records Act, which we received on, April 16, 2021. We note that the requests are limited only to records in our custody and control.
The Alameda County Sheriff's Office is in the process of gathering some responsive, non-exempt data in regards to your request. After review, we will have a cost estimate for you (if any), and upon receipt of payment from you (if any), we will produce these materials. If deemed necessary, we may have to produce on a rolling basis. We estimate the review to be complete within 4 weeks.

After further review of your request, asking for the names, star numbers, respective dates, and the type of time off that Dublin officers took during the dates given, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office has determined the data that you seek is exempt from disclosure pursuant to Penal Code § 832.7, and Gov. Code §§ 6254(c),(k) and 6255.
