Hello,
Thanks so much for your help with this request Angela!
Sincerely,
Northwestside Coalition
From: Des Plaines Police Department
Good morning,
I'm not sure if there is a way to put this in your files for future requests, but if possible, to help avoid any delays or confusion, if you can send all FOIA requests to a different email address foia@desplaines.org<mailto:foia@desplaines.org> or you can upload your request directly to our FOIA portal using the following link.
https://desplainesil.mycusthelp.com/WEBAPP/_rs/(S(olsph0a0hxcj0sjxbs2lzzjq))/SupportHome.aspx
If you do upload your requests directly to our FOIA portal, the option to have the response emailed back to you is listed as Electronic via Records Center. Also by using the FOIA portal you can always log in and check on your request.
I know in some communities, the police department processes their requests separately, but for Des Plaines, we have one central FOIA office.
If you need any additional information or if I can help clarify anything, please feel free to reach out to me.
Thank you,
Annie
