To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

I request any and all records, electronic or written form, including but not limited to, orders and reports regarding the Denver Police Department's policing policy of un-documented immigrants created between Jan. 1st 2017 and present. This should include, but is not limited to, files that make reference to Denver Executive Order 116.

In addition, I request the number of ICE referrals made by the DPD since Jan. 1st, 2016 to present grouped by month, year, and reason for arrest, reason for referral, and whether ICE took custody of the arrestee or not.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

As to the first part of your request, for "any and all records, electronic or written form, including but not limited to, orders and reports regarding the Denver Police Department's policing policy of un-documented immigrants created between Jan 1st 2016 and present", we have identified no orders, reports or responsive records.

As to the second part of your request, for "the number of ICE referrals made by the DPD since Jan. 1st, 2016 to present", the DPD does not make ICE referrals and therefore, we do not have data responsive to your request.
