Pursuant to the Colorado Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Records since Sept. 1, 2008 pertaining to:
· All internal communications — including attachments — related to the dangers of Halloween candy, including discussion of Marijuana candy and other drug-infused, weapon-infused, or other dangerous or confiscated Halloween candy.
· All reports of incidents related to drug-infused or weapon-infused Halloween candy.
· All press releases and other documents, videos, and informational content produced by the agency for the public pertaining to drugged and weapon-infused Halloween candy.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Following a good faith search for items responsive to your request, we have located and identified the following records which are attached:
* 2014 Media Release “Staying Safe on Halloween”;
* A 2014 video entitled “Halloween Marijuana Edibles Warning” may be found at the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wQdLzyN8AU;
* 2015 Media Release “DPD Hosts Halloween Parties for Kids”;
We identified not reports of drug-infused or weapons-infused Halloween candy. It has been a tradition for the DPD to host Halloween events – this year there will be a total of four events. Unfortunately, many of the media releases for those events have been lost. Additionally, a number of Denver Police Department Facebook postings may be found by googling “Denver Police Facebook Halloween”.
