Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
1. A spreadsheet containing individualized police use of force data from 2016-2021 with columns for the incident number, type of force used, date and location of incident; name, age, race and gender of the subject; reason for the use of force, weapon and resistance level of the subject, whether an arrest was made and any charges associated with the arrest, any injuries resulting, whether the incident resulted from a call for service or other reason, and the disposition. If one or more of these columns or years of data is unavailable or unreportable, please provide the remaining columns of available data.
2. A spreadsheet with all arrests made by police from 2016-2021 including the charge associated with the arrest, date and location; and the name, age, race and gender of the arrestee; and whether the arrest resulted from a call for service or other reason for encounter. If one or more of these columns or years of data is unavailable or unreportable, please provide the remaining columns of available data.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good Afternoon,
Due to the extensive amount of data being requested and the dynamic nature of the data, we anticipate this request taking around 4-6 hours. The cost of $33 per hour, after the initial hour, will be charged to pull the responsive data then correct errors and omissions if they are found. This again, is just an estimate and I will know more once we get halfway through the project. Please let me know if you would like to narrow your request or proceed and I can draft an invoice for your review and payment. A project of this nature would require payment upfront.
