Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Good evening,
I am requesting aggregate arrest record data from the Denver, Colorado Police Department. I am specifically requesting data on the number of people arrested and their racial demographics from the years 2015 to this year so far 2021. For each year (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) I am requesting this data on the total number of people arrested and the racial demographics of those arrested. For the racial demographics, I am requesting that this data be given by the following racial groups: White (Non-Hispanic), White (Hispanic), Black or African American (Non-Hispanic), Other (Hispanic), and Asian (Non-Hispanic). If you all don't have this data for racial demographics broken down in this way, please include the data you all have in the way you capture racial demographics.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The Denver Police Department does not have the data you have requested readily available so the dataset would need to be built. We estimate this will require 3 hours. The cost of $33 an hour, after the first hour, will be charged for this process for a total cost of $66.
