Pursuant to the Delaware Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

-Any informational and educational materials distributed in correctional facilities about housing options available to inmates post-release
-Any currently valid policies/procedures detailing Department reentry services specific to accessing housing options post-release
-Any statistical reports detailing admission and release trends from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017
-Any statistical reports detailing recidivism data from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017
-Any statistical reports regarding inmates' housing status prior to and following commitment to the Department from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017

Please provide materials from all state correctional facilities and on a rolling basis, as they become available.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

§ Any informational and educational materials distributed in correctional facilities about housing options available to inmates post-release.

RESPONSE: Please find enclosed the Personal Reentry Planning Workbook for inmates being released from one of our Level IV facilities, the I-ADAPT Initiative resources given to inmates preparing for release for inmates who participate in this program and additional resources being provided re: housing to inmates. Not used statewide but are examples of types of resources being used.

§ Any currently valid policies/procedures detailing Department reentry services specific to accessing housing options post-release.

RESPONSE: Please find DOC Policy 3.12 Offender Reentry and BOP Policy 3.37 Reentry & I-ADAPT in response to this request.

§ Any statistical reports detailing admission and release trends from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.

RESPONSE: The DOC annual report (listed online) contains data through 6/30/18, which ends FY17. You can find admission and release data there. The report can be viewed at http://www.doc.delaware.gov/assets/documents/annual_report/DOC_2017AnnualReport.pdf .

§ Any statistical reports detailing recidivism data from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.

RESPONSE: Recidivism reports are generated by the Delaware Statistical Analysis Center. Their website hosts these reports. The most recent report can be found at https://sac.delaware.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/64/2018/01/Recidivism-2011-2013.pdf .

§ Any statistical reports regarding inmates' housing status prior to and following commitment to the Department from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.

RESPONSE: The DOC does not currently have any reports on inmate housing status.
