Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Please provide a copy of the following:
-Signed oaths of office for all board members.
-Signed oaths of office for all district superintendents who have had that role since October 2019
-Copy of the "blanket bond for employee dishonesty " which was approved during the 7/6/2021 reorganizational meeting, and contact information for the bonding agent.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

This is a duplicate foil request for the same information and end result
sent to Muckrock in December and last week.
See attached oath of office documents again. The last item is denied again
since it does not exist.
Just to be clear this is at least the third time Muckrock and yourself have
requested this, I will not respond to any more foil requests asking for
this documentation again.

If you are rejecting the request and refusing to provide the responsive documents, which were approved in the board meeting on 7/6 please state under which statute makes you EXEMPT from responding with the documents.

Thank you for responding. Since it seems you have withheld information without specifying the statute, until we asked. Can you provide a list of any and all other redactions that have been made without notice for this request, and specifically state the nature of the redaction and the specific federal or state statute that makes you exempt from redacting such information.

Mr. Parker:
Your original request was for a copy of the “blanket bond for employee
dishonesty which was approved during the July 6, 2021 reorganizational
meeting, and contact information for the bonding agent.” In that there was
NO SUCH DOCUMENT that responded to this request, but the District does
maintain a general liability insurance, the District produced its
declaration page for the insurance it maintains. The policy number was
originally withheld – but again, you did not request this document to begin
with; we merely provided it as a courtesy to you, in the hopes that it
would respond to what was a fundamentally unclear request to begin with.
So, now, once again, I will produce documents to you for which you did not
even request, but for which I believe you may be seeking. Attached is the
full policy the District maintains, including any riders. Importantly, I
note that you did not originally request this document. Further, I note,
once again, that there is *no document responsive to your request for a
“copy of the blanket bond for employee dishonesty*.”
I sincerely hope this responds to your multiple inquiries. I strongly
suggest you research the policies and/or WHO in the District needs to be
bonded, as to avoid unnecessary and uninformed requests in the future.

...you are confirming that the “blanket bond for employee dishonesty" that you are required to have by statute, and the board voted to purchase, does not exist and has not been purchased, and you can provide no documentary evidence of such?

We see the faithful performance of duty coverage is noted in the last document you sent us.
What was mentioned in your email concerned us, because while we have asked for this specific information, you are still saying that it is not responsive to the request. The final document is responsive, but at every request you seem to have avoided the response, and even manually redacted specific information necessary to file a claim (without mention of such), so excuse me if we believe you have not been acting in good faith. I think this thread shows that pretty clearly. If you were in a car accident, and the other party intentionally removed their insurance information from the insurance card, or presented you with their homeowners policy number- i'm sure there would be some code violation there, or at least some nefarious purpose could be presumed. Not suggesting there is, but implying that your responses have not be in good faith. Other districts immediately presented responsive documents to this request in matters of hours.
Also, please note that in our conversations with the NYS Department of Finance they have made mention that a FOIL request is not required for you to show us the insurance paperwork, it is a matter of public record.
