Pursuant to the Alabama Public Records, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting all case files and documents related to the murder of Karen Tipton, who was murdered in her home on March 12, 1999 in Decatur, Alabama (Morgan County). I understand this case was solved by law enforcement with the arrest of Daniel Wade Moore. He was subsequently found Guilty in his first trial. The conviction was later overturned. The second trial produced a hung jury. At the conclusion of the third trial, Mr. Moore was found to be Not Guilty. Despite this ruling, the Decatur Police Department feels that this case is closed.
