Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
1) All W2 forms for the year 2020. Please redact social security numbers and addresses only.
2) Pay records for overtime, if any, paid per employee for April and May 2021, all dates or pay periods within the month. If you do not index records per overtime or do not wish to provide only those records, all pay records for April and May 2021.
In advisory opinion 92-005 (1992 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 005), a federal income tax form W-2 "prepared and maintained" by an Ohio township [public agency] acting in the capacity of an employer was considered to be a public record.
This request is not over-broad. It is for a specific set of documents in a specific domain for a single tax year.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Wright Memorial Public Library has reviewed your public records request. Your request for 2020 W-2s will be gathered, reviewed and redacted, as necessary, before being uploaded. In regards to the overtime pay records request, the Library has not paid overtime in 2021, and therefore, has no such records to supply. Once the W-2s have been gathered, I will supply a time estimate for fullfilling your request.
