Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any body camera footage from the protests against President Trump's first executive order aimed at halting immigration from seven Muslim countries. These protests occurred on January 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, and February 1st and 2nd, all in the year 2017.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for your request made in accordance with Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code, Texas Public Information Act (PIA). Your request includes information obtained from audio and video recordings, including body worn camera.

As you may be aware, the 84th Texas Legislature enacted the following statute on September 1, 2015:


(a) A member of the public is required to provide the following information when submitting a written request to a law enforcement agency for information recorded by a body worn camera:

(1) the date and approximate time of the recording; Have the dates but need the approximate times for each date

(2) the specific location where the recording occurred; and Need this information

(3) the name of one or more persons known to be a subject of the recording. Need this information
(b) A failure to provide all of the information required by Subsection (a) to be part of a request for recorded information does not preclude the requestor from making a future request for the same recorded information.

Please clarify your request by providing the required statutory information, in accordance with Section 1701.661, Texas Occupation Code. A request for information is considered withdrawn if the requestor does not respond in writing to a governmental body's written request for clarification or additional information within 61 days.
