Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All records and video recordings pertaining to the use of a Remotec Andros Mark V-A1 to deliver a C-4 charge that killed Micah Xavier Johnson, the suspect identified in the killings of five Dallas police officers on the night of July 7, 2016. Please note that I am also requesting any video recorded by the Mark V-A1 robot itself or video of the robot delivering its payload to disable Johnson.
The requested documents will be processed by a journalist and then made available to the general public. This request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if they could be waived, as I believe this request is in the public interest. Otherwise, please inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
