Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act , I hereby request the following records:
A full copy of all contracts related to the 500 high-definition cameras being installed by contractors at Love Field as mentioned in the following story on digtriad.com: http://www.digtriad.com/news/article/233150/1/Checkpoint-Of-The-Future-At-Love-Field-Airport-in-Dallas-Texas. Please be sure to include the $6 million contract with Avigilon and any other integrators involved on the project.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

I was going to inform you that while the story that you referenced in your ORR discussed the "checkpoint of the future" the only items being install as Love Field are "mega-pixel" cameras. The remainder of the concept, is not being installed at DAL. Not sure if this helps what you expect from your request.

I appreciate the information. So just to clarify, there are no existing contracts for iris or fingerprint scanners, a screening tunnel or purchase orders for PassPort or NGlance products? ... That story is confusing, but I understand it now.
In that case, I'm just looking to get the contract for the installation and service of the new cameras.

That is correct, cameras only. The contracts are under SSI review by TSA.
