To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
1. Invoices for phone/internet noting associated device (phone or phones, iPad or tablet and any internet or cellular-enabled communication technology) used by Mayor of Cranston from July 1, 2018 - present.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
The City needs an additional 20 days to respond to your request due to its potential voluminous nature.
Thanks for your response. Given the limited timeframe of records noted by this request, are you able to explain what you mean by the "potential voluminous nature"?
Thanks again and looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Attached please find the City of Cranston's response to your recent APRA request.
