To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
1. All current policies regarding police use of force.
2. All current policies regarding police firearms.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
In response to your California Public Records Act (CPRA) request sent to Paul Mercado on May 17, 2018, I have attached the two policies you are requesting. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Paul Mercado is not the proper person to send you requests to. Please send any future requests to my attention as I am the Corona Police Department's Custodian of Records.
