Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:
- I am seeking any and all records between your office and the FBI has related to the fatal shooting of a teenager Laquan McDonald by Chicago Police officer Jason Van Dyke
- On Nov 24, 2015 a story ran in Chicago that stated "[Anita] Alvarez said the FBI contacted the Cook County state's attorney's office in November 2014, a few weeks after the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald, and the two offices began working together on the case in December." - Therefore I am requesting any and all documents that your office would have between the FBI and Cook County State's Attorney Office now that the trial has concluded.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for your very hard work on all of these FOIAs. I would like to meet and talk about the record production sometime next year (let me know a good time for you in January). I still think the production is inadequate but most importantly, the documents produced to us are not opening. I think it might be a sharepoint issue but I'd like to discuss on the phone to find a way to resolve the issue.
