To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
The names of any organizations that have requested that inmate release dates be released publicly via the web or by other means, along with any emails, letters, or other documents in which these requests were made or discussed.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Matt Chamberlain

Dear Mr. Chamberlain:
I am responding to your Public Records Act request, dated April 2, 2018 and received in the Office of the Sheriff via Postal Mail on April 6, 2018 from MuckRock News, in which you seek, "The names of any organization that have requested that inmate release dates be released publicly via the web or by other means, along with any emails, letters, or other documents in which these requests were made or discussed."
The California Public Records Act requires that we provide non-exempt existing records in response to a request. We are unable to locate any existing documents that meet your criteria.
Sincerely yours,
