To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA"), I hereby request the following records:

Copies of any and all records for the years 2014 and 2015 related to the annual appellate law clerks' dinners established by the Connecticut Appellate Court, including, but not limited to, all records related to the cost of said dinners, payment for said costs, vendors contracts for said dinners, administrative expenses, the venue of said dinners, the menu of said dinners, a list of invitees to said dinners, a list of attendees at said dinners, and any communications to the invitees or others regarding said dinners, whether in hard copy or electronic form.

I request that fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest because it may concern expenditures of public funds. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I request you inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I prefer the request fulfilled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
