To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA"), I hereby request the following records:
Any and all information regarding the funding of any and all agencies of The Connection, Inc. by Connecticut’s Department of Children and Families, Department of Corrections, Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and Department of Development Services, during the time period 2007-2012, including all materials regarding the following specific points:
• All donations and funds specified for particular use within the agencies of The Connection, Inc.
• All donations and funds directed toward The Connection Fund, Inc.
• All donations and funds designated specifically for any one agency of The Connection, Inc.
Proof of funding from each of the agencies from which information is requested exists in the 2012-2015 Annual Reports as shown on theconnectioninc.org.
I also request that, if possible and pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. § 1-212(d), fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest and not made for commercial gain. The requested documents will be processed by a representative of the news media/press and made available to the public at MuckRock.com.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
