Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA"), I hereby request the following records:
According to the Connecticut Insurance Department’s visitor log, representatives from Cigna, Anthem and/or Robinson Cole met with Department officials 26 times in 2015 and the first quarter of 2016. I hereby request all Insurance Department employees’ notes, minutes, transcripts and/or audio/video recordings from specific meetings with the specific Department officials. I also request any documents that officials from Cigna, Anthem and/or Robinson Cole gave to Department employees at these specific meetings. The specific meetings this request covers are as follows, per their delineation in the Department of Insurance’s visitor log:

I also request that, if possible and pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. § 1-212(d), fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest and not made for commercial gain. The requested documents will be processed by a representative of the news media/press and made available to the public at MuckRock.com. As an award-winning news media organization, we have done extensive reporting on health care and financial policy, and disseminated that reporting to an audience of millions. We intend to use the public documents provided to us by the Department of Insurance to further that ongoing reporting, and the public's understanding of major health care policies.
