Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA"), I hereby request the following records:

- I hereby request any calendar item, meeting notice, electronic meeting invitation and/or conference call meeting notice/calendar item/invitation from employees of the Office of the Governor that references Anthem, Cigna or Robinson Cole. This includes -- but is not necessarily listed to -- calendar items or meeting notices delineating meetings between Governor Dannel Malloy and officials from these companies.

- I hereby request any calendar item, meeting notice, electronic meeting invitation and/or conference call meeting notice/calendar item/invitation from employees of the Office of the Governor that references the Connecticut Department of Insurance and/or Katharine Wade.

- I hereby request the visitor log of the Office of the Governor for the dates 1/1/15 to the present.

I also request that, if possible and pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. § 1-212(d), fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest and not made for commercial gain. The requested documents will be processed by a representative of the news media/press and made available to the public at MuckRock.com. International Business Times is one of the media organizations in the Newsweek family. As an award-winning news media organization, we have done extensive reporting on health care and financial policy, and disseminated that reporting to an audience of millions. We intend to use the public documents provided to us by the Office of the Governor to further that ongoing reporting. We are not using the documents for a commercial purpose -- we are using the documents for journalism.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 4 business days, as the statute requires.

This email is in response to your FOI request regarding correspondence to or from employees of OTG to or from Katharine Wade through her state or personal email address regarding the proposed Anthem-Cigna and Aetna-Human mergers, calls by groups or legislators for Commissioner Wade's recusal, and any correspondence about Ethics Office inquires or advisories about whether Commissioner Wade's connections to Cigna constitute a conflict of interest.

We have reviewed the documents maintained within the Office of the Governor, and the responsive non-exempt documents are attached. This is a final response to you Freedom of Information request, however, if any responsive non-exempt documents are later discovered, we reserve the right to supplement our response.
