To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New Hampshire Right to Know Law, I hereby request the following records:

1) Copies of all contracts entered into by the Conord Police Department and/or School Department since Jan. 1, 2012 for social media monitoring tools that allow the department(s) to track posts on social media by individual, topic, geographic area, or other parameter.

2) Copies of any guides or user manuals for social media monitoring tools in the department(s)' possession.

I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist and I intend to use the requested records to publish article sin the public interest and not for any commercial purpose.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Feathers:

The City has completed a review of its files for the documents requested in your April 19, 2018 e-mail correspondence. The following is our response:

1) Copies of all contracts entered into by the Concord Police Department and/or School Department since Jan. 1, 2012 for social media monitoring tools that allow the department(s) to track posts on social media by individual, topic, geographic area, or other parameter.
The Concord Police Department has not entered into any such contracts. The City of Concord does not represent the Concord School District; therefore, any request for information from them would need to be made directly to the Concord School District.

2) Copies of any guides or user manuals for social media monitoring tools in the department(s)' possession.

The only policies we have on social media are the attached citywide policies.
