In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

To Whom It May Concern:
If you are wanting a public records request from the Columbus Division of Police, please email the request directly to "publicrecords@columbuspolice.org". "JBlackwell" has not worked for CPD for years and any request sent to the Chief may or may not be passed on to our unit. A formal letter has been sent to your offices further explaining the correct protocol to complete a request. If you have any questions regarding this issue, feel free to contact our unit at 614-645-4925. Thank you.
Respectfully,
Kathryn Bowling

Samuel,
Attached is a document that summarizes every civilian complaint filed since 2001. The 2000 data is unavailable because of it being tracked on a system the Division no longer have access to. In regards to your use of force request, that request is far too broad. The Division does not track use of force reports in a spreadsheet or database. In order to comply with your request, I would have to go through the personnel file of every sworn employee on the Division and look for an use of force report dating back to 2000. If you have any questions, feel free to call the number below. Thank you.

From: Samuel Sinyangwe
Hi Kathy,
Thanks for sending this. Can you please send me a revised version that includes the age and race of the subject (complainant) as well as the name and race of officer(s) who the complaint is being made against?
Thanks,
Sam
From: Columbus Division of Police
Samuel,
We do not hold a record for what you are asking. However, I have included stats from 2003-2016 . The year, if not obviously stated, is in the top right corner.
