Under Ohio Public Records Law, each department or office of the City of Columbus is responsible for maintaining its own records and responding to public records requests. As the City Clerk for the City of Columbus, I coordinate public records requests on behalf of the Members of Council for records that are maintained within their offices
The City Council office does not maintain the type of investment and asset documents/records of the City of Columbus that are contained within your public records request.
To the best of my knowledge, the best resource for those records may be the City Auditor’s office and may or may not include a variety of other departments. The City Auditor’s office may be contacted directly at the same address: 90 W. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215. Megan N. Kilgore is the City Auditor and her email is firstname.lastname@example.org<mailto:email@example.com>.
ANDREA BLEVINS, CMC
We have received your email and have sent your request to Ms. Debbie Klie, City Treasurer of the City of Columbus. She will be responding in the next two business days.
Thanks very much!
