Complaints Against Current Officers

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

1. Current officers with the total amount of complaints against them during their time as a police officer.

2. The report of each of complaint.

3. The result/outcome of each complaint.

Please only include statistics reflecting the number of internal/departmental complaints, not civilian complaints.

I am a journalist for Matter News, a nonprofit news organization located in Columbus, and would like any fees waived if possible.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I apologize for any confusion. I did indeed make two separate requests, but the wording was very similar so I can see how it was easily looked over.

My first request was for:
"Please only include statistics reflecting the number of ***civilian complaints, not internal/departmental complaints.***

I have received it, thank you very much. This second request is:
"Please only include statistics reflecting the number of ***internal/departmental complaints, not civilian complaints.***

I was trying to separate civilian and internal complaints.
