Good morning Ms. Fernandez,

I did not receive the previous email requests from you dated in July and early August. The email inquiry below dated August 22, 2017 is the first one I have received.

Under Ohio Public Records Law, each department or office of the City of Columbus is responsible for maintaining its own records and responding to public records requests. As the City Clerk for the City of Columbus, I coordinate public records requests on behalf of the Members of Council for records that are maintained within their offices. The City Council office does not maintain the type of records that are contained within your public records request.

To the best of my knowledge, the best resource for those records would be the Franklin County Auditor’s office, rather than an entity within the City of Columbus. A link to the Franklin County Auditor’s office is as follows: https://www.franklincountyauditor.com/dogs/dog-licensing
