Pursuant to the Colorado Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all emails / correspondence from January 1, 2018 to present featuring any of the following keywords: Sol Pais; Pais; Surfside.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Hello Ben,
I received your inquiry to the CDPS_Info email address regarding a CORA
request. I have no record of CDPS as a department receiving the records
request you reference having sent on April 17, however I checked with our
Divisions and it looks like CBI and the Colorado State Patrol both received
your request and have already responded.

CDPS has close to 2,000 employees in six divisions, including CBI and the
Colorado State Patrol. It would be incredibly onerous and time consuming
(and thus costly) to ask the remaining employees to all individually search
their emails, when very few of those employees had any direct involvement
with the investigation. Would you like to narrow your request, or cancel it
considering that our two most relevant divisions have already responded to
you?
