To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
1) Copies of usage statistics/reports from the university's Proctorio software documenting:
a) How many times the proctoring software has been used since Jan. 1, 2020
b) How many times the software has flagged activity as suspicious since Jan. 1, 2020
The Proctorio software allows for automatic generation of these reports, as demonstrated by the attached document. If it is not possible to generate reports for a specific time frame starting on Jan. 1, 2020, I ask that you provide weekly, monthly, or academic year reports covering 2019 and as much of 2020 as is possible.
I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist and I intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest, and not for any commercial purpose.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.
