To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting a list of all of the National Rifle Association's lobbying expenditures in Colorado from January 1, 2013 to March 14, 2017 that list "Starboard Strategic Inc." as a vendor. The list should include the amount of the expense, the type/purpose of the expense, and the the date of the expense.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Your request below was forwarded to me, as I now handle open records requests for our office. Lobbyist expenditure information is available free of charge on the Colorado Information Marketplace. The dataset "Expenses for Lobbyists in Colorado," is available here: https://data.colorado.gov/Legislative/Expenses-for-Lobbyists-in-Colorado/eqsm-7ah7. It contains information about registered lobbyist expenses, including the expense, amount, purpose, and date going back to 1995. You can download the whole dataset to a variety of formats; or, if you click the "View Data" button, you can use the data online and can filter or sort on any of the fields in the data set.
