Pursuant to the Colorado Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

A spreadsheet of all public high schools in the state of Colorado that offer one or more journalism course(s) during the current academic year (2019-2020).

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Here is some additional information, regarding your request:
CDE collects course level information from districts who map their local courses to a state standard course code. Districts are not required to report or map all of their offered courses through this process, however they are encouraged to do so. The attached list in the previous email includes the districts that have reported their courses mapped to one of the state course codes for Journalism. Other districts may offer a course in journalism or that includes journalism but mapped the course to a different state course code. The full list of available state course codes for districts to utilize can be found at: https://www.cde.state.co.us/datapipeline/scedcodesfor2019-2020withcrosswalk. Again, this data has not been required from districts, so I am including the past 3 years of the data available.
