To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Colorado Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Copies of any internal manuals, instructions, forms or checksheets for how the law enforcement agency processes records requests.
I am a member of the news media and request classification as such. I have previously written about the government and its activities, with some reaching over 100,000 readers. As my primary purpose is to inform about government activities by reporting on it and making the raw data available, I request that fees be waived.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

My name is Kimberly, I am a Supervisor in the Central Records Unit. Your
recent request for records has been sent to me for processing. Before I can
begin, I do need the proper form filled out, and if you could please
identify if you are seeking information on Records related to Criminal
Justice Record releases, or records related to the Colorado Open Records
Act (CORA) Process? There is a slight difference in process and the
possible cost of production.

Good morning -
In an attempt to fulfill your request, I am still waiting on signed form
that I previously sent you, and again in this email acknowledging the
pecuniary gain statute. Without that form fill out, I cannot fulfill your
request. Further more, I do not have record of any previous request that
you have submitted, to say that this request is "a follow up to a previous
request" this is a entirely new request and a form must be filled out.
Failure to return the form will result this request being closed out
unsatisfied.
