Hi Kimberly,

I noticed that there were three agencies listed by the DoD as having MRAPs that weren't among the LEAs whose training plans were in your response. I was hoping I could follow up about that - I saw that one of them had their vehicle shipped to them back in 2001, so I wondered if perhaps that had something to do with it?

Thanks for all your help so far!
Daniel

From: Daniel Welch

Oh, and the agencies were Lakewood PD, Monte Vista PD, and Routt County Sheriff Dept (this last being the one that received its vehicle in 2001) if that helps!

From: Kimberly Ramsey

Good morning -

Lakewood PD and Monte Vista PD both have a Mamba armored vehicle, not an
MRAP. Routt County Sheriff has a V-150 armored car, not an MRAP. Currently,
law enforcement agencies are required to send me their training plans only
for MRAP vehicles.

Let me know what else you need. Thank you!

I see - thanks for clearing that up! The only other thing I can think of is that I noticed that the Colorado 1033/1122 newsletter mentions sample training plans that police agencies can request as they draft their own. Would it be possible to take a look at those?

Thanks,
Daniel
