From: Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Insurance

Ms. Drubi,
Are you looking for closed automotive insurance complaints, or actual
closed claims?
The Division does not process automotive claims, but there would be
automotive claims information in some of the complaints we received.
Please let me know more about what you are looking for and I will see if it
is anything we are able to provide.
I hope you are having a good morning.

Hi Mr Mortier

Thank you for your prompt response. If you have any claims information relating to commercial policies where a VIN and any information about claims cost/judgement is indicated, that would be helpful.

From: Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Insurance

I'll be happy to ask around and see what I can find out, and will get back
to you.

Ms. Drubi,
After speaking with staff, it appears unlikely that the Division would
have a VIN in any of the auto-insurance complaints we've received - unless
we by chance have a police report as part of the complaint documents, but
even the police reports don't always include the VIN of the vehicles
involved. I've also determined that the Division does not track any data
concerning claims and VIN's, or claim costs and judgments associated with
the complaints we receive.
Hopefully this answers some of your questions, and please let me know if I
can be of further assistance.
