From: Emily Hopkins

Hi Mr. Coolidge and Mr. Cartin,

Thank you for your help and for the help of your office. I have done some more research and I think I can provide a more refined request. The abstract that you provided tells me that this was Ballot Initiative 8 on the 1972 referendum. Further research into Colorado law has shown me that this law (which prohibits the use of public funds for the 1976 Olympics) was later repealed in 1989; the problem I seem to be having is that I cannot find the language of the original law, only references to its appeal. I think it may be available in the same type of document that Mr. Cartin provided me, which seem to be scanned from physical books. I think what I would be looking for would be from the General Assembly Session convened in January 1973.

Thank you for any help you can provide me with.

Emily
