Hello,

Thank you for your response. Would you be able to produce a fee estimate that would allow for the search of the hard drives/email accounts of all officers of the Clark County Sheriff's Department containing both the words "bundy" and "party in the previously mentioned time frame?

According to Nevada state law, "An agency cannot deny a request for access to public records because it is not specific enough
or is too broad."(http://nsla.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/nslanvgov/content/Records/Public_Records/Bulletin3_PR_Manual.pdf). If my request continues to be denied based solely on it being described as "over-broad", or if as you mentioned the emails I requested over a month ago are deleted, I will proceed with the appeal process.

I understand I may be charged a substantial fee for this service. Of the 5,000+ employees, what number are officers? I would like to narrow my request only to include the email correspondence of police officers that mentions both "Bundy" and "party". Even if "google-like" search is not possible for all the officers' emails simultaneously, surely each individual email account is capable of keyword based search.

I would like an approximate itemized estimate of the cost of searching each officer's emails spanning from April of 2015 to April of 2016, as well as one for solely April 2015 and April 2016. If the cost of this were to be prohibitive due to the man hours required to search each unique email account, would the cost of providing me with the emails be decreased if I modified my request to include all emails from the month of April 2015 sent between officers of the department? Even if searching doesn't exist, there ought be some way to batch-export emails from a certain date range.

Thank you for your help in completing this request.
