Policies governing the use of Surveillance and Traffic Cameras

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Wisconsin's Open Records act, I hereby request the following records:

1) Copies of all written and/or digital policies or rules governing the use of Surveillance and Traffic Cameras maintained by the City of Appleton.

2) Copies of Surveillance and Traffic Camera data retention rules or policies.

3) Copies of all policies, rules, or Memorandum of Agreements, or Memorandum of Understandings and any other agreements or contracts with any local, state, or federal law enforcement agency regarding access to surveillance or traffic camera data or feeds maintained by the City of Appleton.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you for the lightning quick response to this open records request. I have reviewed the documents provided and I am unable to locate any responsive records listed under section three of my request.

Please provide any written agreements, memoranda of understanding, memoranda of agreement with any local, state, or federal law enforcement agency and also any agreements with "public partners" as listed in the appendix of the Traffic Camera Policy provided.
